Mariah Carey -'Almost Home' Single Premiere

Endlich gibt es wieder was zu hören von der guten Mariah Carey. Es gab zwischendurch zwar immer wieder einzelen iTunes Releases, aber das waren dann eher mittelmäßige Nummern. Ganz anders verhält es sich hier mit 'Almost Home', der Track ist nicht nur Mariah's neue Single sondern auch der Titeltrack zum Disney Film 'Die fantastische Welt von Oz'. Das ganze kommt als leichte Pop-Nummer daher die ihre Alternative Einflüsse nicht ganz verleugnen kann und zwischen Ballade und Tanznummer schwebt. Ein interessanter Track, der meiner Meinung nach eine neue Seite von Mariah zeigt. Gefällt mir jedenfalls sehr gut - und wie es euch gefällt lässt sich wie immer am Ende der Seite herausfinden.

Finally there is something new coming from Mariah Carey, musically, not fighting with Rappers 'bout the Crown. There have been recent iTunes Releases of so-called Singles, but we better not talk about that. But to my relief, her new Single is a pretty little Pop Song, even partly a Dancefloor-Thing I guess.
Not only the Track is her new Single but it is also the Titletrack of Disneys new-to-be Moviehit 'Oz- The Great & Powerful'.
The Song can't deny his alternative roots, the same way it can't decide whether it is a Dancesong or a Ballad. It is an interessting Track, with an even more interessting new view on Mariah's Talents.
